Mrs. Erin Klits is a certified clinical Speech Pathologist with more than 20 years of experience.
She graduated Summa Cum Laude from the University of New Hampshire with a Bachelor of Science in Communication Disorders. She continued her education to obtained a Master of Science in Speech and Hearing Sciences from the University of Arizona and a Master of Science in Computer Information Technology from Regis University.
Erin has extensive education and experience in tongue thrust, reverse swallow and swallowing disorders in general. These areas of expertise are a fundamental contribution to our orthodontic/pediatric dentistry team.
Mrs Klitz have also experience on the following areas/therapies:
- Language acquisition
- Articulation delays & disorders
- Feeding issues
- Cognitive retraining (traumatic brain injury and stroke)
- Fluency disorders
- Autism spectrum disorders
- Social skills development
- English second language learning
Erin is originally from Boulder, CO. In her free time she enjoys spending time with her beautiful family, three kids and two dogs, going for a jog in the forest, cooking, or taking a yoga class. Erin helps teach English as a second language MEP and MUN classes at a local Belgian high school.
She is perfectly bilingual in English and French.
