Claudia Serna has 28 years of experience as a general dental practitioner. In 1990, she graduated from the University of Antioquia and in 2009 she obtained the European equivalence of her degree at the University of Barcelona. She also holds a master’s degree in public health from the Université libre de Bruxelles. During her long experience, she followed different internships in dentistry, implantology and orthodontics and worked several years as assistant in stomatology and maxillofacial surgery at the St-Anne St-Remi Clinic in Brussels.
She constantly seeks to be updated on the latest trends and best practices in dentistry. As an example, she’s completing a university certification in esthetics and prosthetic rehabilitation from the Université libre de Bruxelles.
Claudia has a special interest in pediatric dentistry and interceptive orthodontics. Given her public health background Claudia understands the value of prevention as the key to keep the oral health of our little patients. At the Smiles clinic, Claudia will focus on the smallest of our patients and provide support to the orthodontic team.
